You will not be able to understand the authority of the name of Jesus until you understand this fact. Down in the prison house of suffering – down in hell itself – Jesus satisfied the claims of justice on behalf of each one of us, because He died as our substitute. God in Heaven said: “It is enough”. Then He raised Him up. He brought His spirit and soul up out of hell – He raised His body up from the grave – and He said “Thou art my son THIS DAY have I begotten thee”. What day? The day He was begotten. The day He was raised up. That’s the day, then, that he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent Name.

The trouble with us is that we've preached a 'cross' religion, and we need to preach a 'throne' religion. By that I mean that people have thought they were supposed to remain at the cross. Some have received the baptism in the Holy Spirit, have backed up to the cross, and have stayed there ever since...The cross is actually a place of defeat, whereas the Resurrection is a place of triumph. When you preach the cross, you're preaching death, and you leave people in death.

The believer is as much an incarnation of God as Jesus Christ ... If we ever wake up and realize who we are, we'll start doing the work that we're supposed to do. Because the church hasn't realized yet that they are Christ. That's who they are. They are Christ.
