Something mobilised them to go into the world to proclaim this gospel - this good news of God's light was coming on earth as it is in heaven. Something gave them the strength to resist the forces of empire and to declare a better way. And so I don't know if that was a physical resurrection. I don't know if a spiritual encounter was enough to do that. Something happened though and I do believe that Jesus is alive, present and active in all those that seek to follow him.
