Bruce Sanguin Quotes
Three Quotes by: Bruce Sanguin of United Church of Canada We believe that along with the rest of life, we need to creatively adapt to changing life conditions, or suffer the evolutionary consequences. This creative process of adaptation and innovation is driven by Spirit. Everything is involved in a sacred, evolutionary process, including the Christian faith. If we stand still for too long we’ll be a victim of the “blessed unrest” that is coursing through the universe, rather than stewards of this unrest. Revelation is ongoing, not confined to any book or single person, or to 2000 years ago. We take the Bible seriously, not literally, and we don’t think that religion is about private salvation.
